The Spyderco YoJumbo Folding Pocket Knife, designed by Michael Janich, is an enlarged and refined evolution of the Yojimbo™ 2. Increased by more than 20% in size, it delivers improved ergonomics for a wider range of hand sizes while preserving the aggressive, performance-driven design language of the original. Built for tactical use and precision cutting, the YoJumbo focuses on control, strength, and rapid deployment.

At its core is a deeply hollow-ground Wharncliffe blade made from CPM® SPY27® steel, a proprietary cobalt-enriched particle metallurgy stainless steel exclusive to Spyderco. This advanced steel offers an excellent balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The blade features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™, enabling fast, ambidextrous, one-handed opening for reliable deployment in any situation.

The handle is constructed with skeletonized stainless steel liners nested within coarse peel-ply textured G-10 scales, providing high strength and a secure grip under demanding conditions. The design is finished in Spyderco’s signature cobalt blue aesthetic for instant recognition. A robust Compression Lock mechanism ensures secure blade lockup while allowing smooth one-handed operation.
