The Yurco Ginunting Fixed Blade Knife is a modern interpretation of the traditional Filipino ginunting sword, designed by retired law enforcement officer, veteran SWAT member, martial artist, and custom knifemaker Mickey Yurco. Inspired by the Visayan-style ginunting known for its exceptional leverage and cutting power, this fixed blade knife delivers strong slicing capability and controlled thrusting performance in a compact and practical format.

At its core is a full-flat ground 9Cr18MoV stainless steel blade measuring approximately 8.08″, offering dependable durability, corrosion resistance, and cutting performance. The distinctive ginunting blade profile features a concave edge geometry and Wharncliffe-style tip that naturally supports powerful slicing and thrusting motions. A harpoon-style swedge enhances the blade’s piercing capability while maintaining a strong and durable point.

The full-tang handle is fitted with contoured polished G-10 scales secured by stainless steel Torx® fasteners, providing a secure and ergonomic grip during demanding use. Additional design elements include an integral lower guard, a generously sized lined lanyard hole, and a flared fantail butt for enhanced handling and retention during high-speed manipulation.
